Ivan graduated from Singapore Management University with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degree in May 2015. He was subsequently called to the Singapore Bar and admitted to the roll of Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in August 2016.
Ivan had previously interned with our Property Law Department in July 2014 and has joined Tito Isaac & Co LLP since January 2016, initially as a Practice Trainee, and then as an Associate after being called to the Bar.
Interest in Property Law, Banking and Taxation Laws
Ivan has a strong interest property, banking and taxation matters, which led him to choose his practice area in Conveyancing. He believes that each and every property transaction must be treated with attentive care and detail as it is possibly one of largest investment clients could be making. His experience gained from his previous internship at the Singapore Land Authority has also positioned him well to advise clients in their property matters.
He has also drafted tenancy agreements as well as tax advice pursuant to a potential Merger and Acquisition of companies.
Outside of work, Ivan conducts the weekly Sunday Choir at his church and has been with his Choir for the past 10 years. He also enjoys swimming and travelling in his free time.
